Internet Fraud Complain Centre is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C). IFCC's mission is to address fraud committed over the Internet. For victims of Internet fraud, IFCC provides a convenient and easy-to-use reporting mechanism that alerts authorities of a suspected criminal or civil violation. For law enforcement and regulatory agencies at all levels, IFCC offers a central repository for complaints related to Internet fraud, works to quantify fraud patterns, and provides timely statistical data of current fraud trends. Additionally, the website contains statistics, reports, press releases and preventive information against Internet fraud.

Looks Too Good To Be True is a website specially designed to educate consumers and help them prevent becoming a victim of Internet fraud schemes created by the FBI in conjunction with the Internet Complaint Centre, the US Postal Inspection Service and other private American firms. The website contains a section on identity theft with information, tips and advise to help consumers avoid falling victim of identity theft.

OnGuardOnline.gov is a bilingual website created by the FTC in partnership with the Homeland Security, the United Postal Inspection Service, the Department of Commerce and the Securities Exchange Commission. This web site contains useful information on seven important areas of Internet consumer protection, including a section on identity theft, which is also a vailable in Spanish.

National Consumer Protection Week is a website created by the federal government, which contains helpful sources for consumers to help them minimize the risks of identity theft. The website contains information from federal, state and local governments and private and advocacy organizations. It also contains consumer information in Spanish.

Mexico

Navega Protegido en Internet is a website developed by a partnership of businesses chambers & associations, banking and financial institutions, technology firms and the Mexican government through CONDUSEF. The website contains information divided into three principal sections: (i) Basic Security; (ii) Personal Security; and (iii) Security for your Surrounding. The website provides information, alerts and videos to protect Mexican consumers against electronic fraud such as spam, phishing and spyware.
